Event name: Light Nights “Treasures of Time”

Information: “Light Nights” is inspired by the “China Light” event held at Ouwehands Dierenpark (and other locations) in previous years, created to celebrate the Chinese New Year. All lanterns are handmade from cloth to resemble the rice paper-look, but with extra durability in the Dutch weather. The lanterns are placed throughout the zoo to create a unique scenario with every set you pass by during the route.
This time the theme was “Treasures of Time”, meaning there are several types of dinosaurs to be found throughout the park, as well as some other ancient animals, and even modern ones we know today!
